Autologous vaccines
It is known that cancer cells express on their surface tumor antigens which may induce a cell-mediated and humoral immune response.
The vaccine developed by GENOPOIETIC is a suspension of chemically modified cells recovered by the patient’s own tumors. Thus, the vaccine made contains an important panel of tumor antigens specific to each patient. The chemical modification of the antigens is assumed to overcome the immune system’s tolerance towards cancer cells and therefore produce an anti-tumor immune response.
